Newborn Appointment

Today Ella had her newborn check up, it went pretty well. Her oxygen levels were awesome while she was awake and alert and then while she was feeding. While she was sleeping, they dipped into the mid 80's. And unfortunately since she spends 90% of her days sleeping, she has to stay on the oxygen a while longer. Stupid altitude! She has her 2 week check up on Tuesday the 16th so we're keeping our everything's crossed that she can go off of the oxygen then.
She seems to be growing like a little weed! Her head circumfrence at birth was 13 3/4" and today at 6 days old it was 14 1/4", her length at birth was 20 3/4" and today she was an even 21", and at birth she weighed 7 lbs 11 oz but was down to 6 lbs 10 oz when we left the hospital, today she was up to 7 lbs 7 oz.
When they were doing all of her measurements she of course peed on the table, haha. We had just 2 minutes earlier taken her diaper off, I guess she was cold. =) She had a rough day yesterday, the oxygen is so dry it makes it a little hard for her to breathe at times, so today the pediatrician said to just put a small incline under her mattress so her head is a little higher then the rest of her, so far so good. She slept like a champ in her carseat after the appointment and now she's sleeping well in her pack n play.
I can't believe she's going to be a week old tomorrow!
